My desire as a painter is to capture the liminal space that lies between so-called dualities: heaven and earth, light and dark, spiritual and material.  The vessel of paradox, it simultaneously reveals and conceals until in a momentary flash, the veil is lifted and fleetingly we glimpse the essence and mystery of life itself.
